Appleseed Ex Machina is the sequel to the 2004 Appleseed film that was directed by Shinji Aramaki. It continues the story of Deunan and Briareos, and also introduces a couple of new characters (Tereus and Aeacus).
The languages menu for the Appleseed Ex Machina DVD is a little on the frustrating side. It is done in such a way that the language option for each country is written in that respective country’s language. Unfortunately, this means that the Japanese and Chinese options are written with the Japanese and Chinese characters. If you want to choose either of those as a language option, you have to have some familiarity with the written characters. Also, after you choose the language, you are automatically returned to the main menu. In order to indicate that you want subtitles, you have to return to the languages menu and choose the subtitles. Every once in a while Hollywood comes out with a movie which is both prophetic and spiritual in nature. Granted, this movie has some very good action in it; however, that is not the important theme of it: It is all about spiritual warfare. This wonderful movie is about a man (Eli ~ Denzel Washington) whom was given a purpose (mission) by GOD to deliver a Bible to a given destination. Eli is tested (persecuted) in many various ways along his way (path, walk) in the desert. These tests were physical, psychological, sexual and spiritual in order to test his faith, strength and determination. What is obvious here is that Eli followed the Gospel, and people came out of the wood-work to destroy him and his “walk” in the LORD. Although they tried to recruit him, they finally sent an Army after him because Eli wouldn’t conform to their world and kept on his walk of faith foot-by-foot. What is not obvious to Eli’s enemies is that he is supernaturally protected during all of his trials and tribulations. What seems prophetic in this movie is that people will eventually kill for Bibles and the Word of the LORD: Bibles will eventually become very valuable in the future because there will be very few of them around. I have a fairly big collection of these types of videos, so I become somewaht critcal of their flaws and missed potential. This video is visually stunning. So much, that when I show my friends my Blu-ray player on my 67 inch screen, I use this Blu-ray as the example. You literally feel like you are inside the picture. Anyone who collects Blu-rays knows, just as with 1080i, there are good versions, real good versions & totally mind blowing versions. This is certainly visually mind blowing. The detail is incredible. I don’t know if they filmed this with a special camera of what (I really don’t care)but the results are awesome. The music was nice with a good variety, also. Viewed purely as an action movie, this rocks. It builds tension nicely and the action sequences are very believable. I don’t normally enjoy a lot of shaky handheld camera work, but in this film it seems to fit. It was also a good move using real combat vets instead of actors.
Some have complained that the “WMD” dialog is dumbed down; but it is a measure of how far we’ve come that hearing such naive talk of finding “WMDs” just sounds plain ridiculous. There is no way around the fact that this big lie is what propelled us into the horror and chaos we have visited upon Iraq — a horror and chaos that this movie depicts quite well. Read more...

Who currently has kidnapped A senator’s Daughter and Imprisoned her in a well.Then Crawford makes a faulse deal with Lecter a transfer to a prison eventualy senator Martin makes a real deal with the help of DR Chillton[Anthony Heald] who moves Lecter to Memphis with a profile on Bill and hot on his trail meanwhile Clarice finds clues ralated to buffalo bill.
